WHAT IS THE BEST TYPE OF FENCING FOR MY GARDEN?
We generally recommend close board fencing as a medium budget option for garden fencing. It lasts far longer than fence panels and if cared care it can last 30/40 years or more.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO INSTALL NEW FENCING?
Our fencing contractors are usually quite quick to install new fencing. It should only take a day or so to strip out the old fencing, another day to install the new posts and then another day to install the actual fencing panels. It all depends on the size of your garden, what access is like and whether it is overgrown or reasonably well kept.
HOW MUCH WILL A NEW GARDEN FENCE COST?
There are many variables when it comes to fence installation cost. A close boarded fence panel from Selco will cost around £47 whilst a close boarded fence panel from Hartwood will cost £70 per panel. In a nutshell, you get what you pay for material wise so if you want your fence installation to last then go for better quality panels. Note that it costs the same to fit a cheap panel as it does to fit a good one so the labour cost won't change when you fit better quality panels.
